Present Perfect Simple – Present Perfect Continuous

Present Perfect Simple Present Perfect Continuous
+ Subject + have/has +V3/V-ed + Subject + have/has + been + V-ing
- Subject + haven’t/ hasn’t + V3/V-ed - Subject + haven’t / hasn’t + been + V-ing
? Have/ has + Subject + V3/V-ed? ? Have/has + Subject + been + V-ing?
Present Perfect Simple обозначает:   1. действие, совершенное в прошлом, но результат которого относится к настоящему (время совершения действия неизвестно или не имеет значения)
   
I have lost my wallet. Somebody has stolenmy car! (=I haven't got it now.) (=It isn't there now.)
   

2. используется для обозначения действия, которое началось в прошлом и все ещё продолжается (с глаголами, которые не используются в Continuous, такими как: be, believe, belong, feel, hate, have, hear, know, like, love, mean, need, prefer, remember, want, wish, think, understand)

 

This house has belonged to me since my grandfather died.

How long have youhad your car?

We've known each other for a few weeks.

 

Present Perfect Continuous обозначает:   1. действие, которое недавно завершилось и которое имеет видимый результат в настоящем времени (важно подчеркнуть продолжительность действия) She looks slim as she has been keeping a diet for 3 months. (=She is not on a diet now.) Her shoes are muddy. She has been digging the garden. 2. используется для обозначения действия, которое началось в прошлом и все ещё продолжается   We have been waiting here for hours!    
Time expressions: how long, since, for, never, ever, yet, already, just, so far, recently, lately Time expressions: for, since, how long, all morning/day/year, etc.
